Musée du Louvre (Louvre Museum)

The world famous Louvre, one of the most well known museums in the world.

If you don't want to stand in a long line, there are several other entrances besides the main pyramid entrance such as Rue de Rivoli & Pl. du Carousel entrance or the Porte des Lions entrance. You can also enter directly from the Palais Royal-Musée du Louvre Metro station.
Tickets can also be purchased in advance. It will cost a couple euros extra but will let you skip the lines.

Panthéon & Notre-Dame de Paris

Pantheon was originally built as a church, but is now used as a  mausoleum for famous French people.

Unfortunately, the dome is under renovations at the moment

Basilique du Sacré-Cœur (Sacre-Coeur Basilica)

Sacré-Cœur Basilica is located at the top of Montmartre in the 18th arrondissement, and is a short walk from the 4 and 12 metro lines. The basilica offers a good view of Paris, and has plenty of shops and restaurants nearby (which I'll save for another time).

One thing to note, is beware of the string scam at the bottom of the stairs. As you walk by, men will approach you and try to tie a string around your finger or hand, and then demand a steep payment for what's essentially a worthless string. Just keep your hands close to yourself, don't make eye contact and walk pass them.

Watch out for all the string scammers around here.

The area gets a bit rough at night, with a lot of people sitting around getting drunk.

Au Bougnat (Traditional French Bistro)

Au Bougnat
Traditional French bistro just around the corner from Notre Dame, a 3 course meal is about €30, but it's definitely worth the price. Highly recommended.

La Tour Eiffel (Eiffel Tower)

Even in April, there was a long line to enter. We waited for about an hour. The top level was closed due to high winds and the first floor was closed for renovations so we were only able to go to the second floor. But the view from the second floor is fine. Based on the last time I visited, it's pretty much the same as the summit, just a little lower so if you want to save a few euros, you can just go up to the second floor. Or if you really want to save some euros, you can also take the stairs (704 stairs, 115 meters). Note, the stairs only go up to the second floor.
